Once again, Netanyahu is no more the voice of Israel than Trump is of America. These are dictator wannabes whom their nations suffer.

That a Virginia college kowtows to Trump does not, I hope, reflect upon the state itself … cowardice is not the face of democracy.

That is a question that I've had for at least the last 50 years: Is Israel ALWAYS right in what they say and do? I know that I was raised at home and in school to be sympathetic to the Jewish people because of how they have been treated by others, individuals and countries and political systems, but I began to question it because I have thought some of their actions in history were not defensible. The evangelicals I know now say there is no question they have been "commanded by god" to support the country of Israel no matter what they do or say, but of course because I am not an evangelical, I think that's bunk. As an adult I do not think they are always right, I think the country is ruled by another sociopath who has been given the same benefits of "law" that our country has given our homegrown sociopath, and they are incapable of making intelligent decisions based on the needs of the country and not carte blanche to save themselves from prison.
